Standard + Pea: The Traveling Succulent Terrarium Shop
These days everyone is on a succulent craze—and I’m one of them! Within the last year my good friends over at Standard + Pea started up a traveling succulent terrarium shop. Located near Washington D.C., you can find them at various pop–up shops and local markets.
The creators behind Standard + Pea are Lindsey and Haris. Between the two of them, lots of love and care are put into these succulents. Based out of their farmhouse, Lindsey and Haris grow the plants along with making the terrariums for their customers.
I was able to capture a few shots of their little garden room this weekend and I was so excited to come home and share it with you guys! Unfortunately, Haris was a little under the weather so I was only able to get behind the scenes photos of Lindsey and their succulent plants.
A variety of succulents can be purchased from them, or a custom order can be placed for a personalized terrarium. What I love about their terrariums is that they are in adorable mason jars, allowing you to see each and every layer. After purchasing one, I am thrilled to say that it makes a great addition to my apartment!
Succulents are easy to care for too. You really can’t kill them…if you do, you must’ve really neglected the little guy! You can learn all about how to care for them on their website here.
Be on the lookout for their next pop–up shop at the IX Project in Charlottesville, VA on Saturday, August 23rd from 10am–2pm for the fleaVILLE outdoor flea market. Also, check out Standard + Pea on Instagram and Twitter @standardandpea so you can get behind the scenes and be in the know of where they are!
And do not forget to check out @lovevividly and @standardandpea on Instagram tomorrow for a special giveaway for our followers!
Had such a great time with you this weekend! Thanks for coming by and taking such cute photos of Standard + Pea 🙂
What a pleasant and fun post. I have to say as a Standard + Pea succulent owner I love having one around. There is always such a great joy to care for something, even if its just a plant, and see it grow. I can’t wait to see you guys at a pop up shop soon! Really nice post and also really nice job with the photography. It would be so hard to take a bad pic at the farm! Lovely place.
