Quick Morning Oats

I haven’t shared a recipe in a while on here and am pretty excited to share this one with you guys. Since becoming a mama I’ve really had to pay attention to what I was eating to maintain my health, but also to keep my milk supply in check. Breastfeeding is one heck of a journey and I’m so proud that I’ve almost made it to 8 months! The first thing I do when I wake up these days is make me some homemade oatmeal. I wanted to share this recipe with you all because I’m sure there’s some mama’s out there that want to eat healthy AND help their supply all at the same time. The ingredients I put in my oatmeal are key for that.

Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup of rolled oats
• 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
• 2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal
• A heaping tablespoon of brown sugar
• Dash of cinnamon
• 1/2 cup coconut milk

I mix all of the ingredients together and microwave it for 1 minute. Lately, I’ve been making the oatmeal at night and letting it sit. Either way, it is delicious! If you end up making this recipe let me know how you like it!
