Kahlua Pumpkin Pie
Fall is officially here! I’ve been seeing pumpkins everywhere and I have to say, it’s really got me feeling festive. Last year, B made this amazingly delicious pumpkin pie and we had to make it again to share with you all. This is a pumpkin pie for all of you coffee fans too!
Ingredients needed:
• 1/4 cup of Kahlua
• 1-1/2 cup of canned pumpkin
• 1/4 cup of light corn syrup
• 1 cup of evaporated milk
• 1/2 cup of light brown sugar
• 1-1/2 tsp. of pumpkin pie spice
• Dash of ginger spice
• 1/2 tsp. of salt
• 2 eggs
• 1 pastry crust
How to make your pie:
Step 1: Pour all ingredients into a bowl and mix together using a whisk.
Step 2: For pastry crust—if purchased, follow instructions on package; otherwise use your favorite pastry crust recipe.
Step 3: Preheat oven to 325° F.
Step 4: Pour pie mix into pastry crust and place into oven for about 40-60 minutes, or until only the center of the pie looks wet.
Step 5: Let cool to allow pie to settle.
Step 6: Cut yourself a slice and indulge with whip cream on top!
