Cheers to 2015!

Cheers to 2015
First off, I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year!! As I sit here writing this, I can’t help but think about how much support you all have given me this past year. I started this blog in April last year and wasn’t sure where I was going to take it at first, which was kind of scary for me given that I’m the type of person that has to have everything planned, and failure doesn’t sit well with me. The funny thing about this blog is that I don’t have my posts planned out to ‘x’ many weeks/months in advance as they say you should. I do my posts the weekend before that upcoming Monday; and for once in my life I’m okay with that! I know a lot of you have been following my blog since day 1 and I hope you all know that your love and support is what keeps me going!

To start the year off right, I decided to make a hashtag for all of you readers that would like to share your recreations of things that you’ve read on my blog, or really anything for that matter! Are you ready?!?! Drumroll please……the new hashtag will be #sharethelv (get it? Clever I know!). So get ready to start sharing the love! Be sure to share your photos on Instagram and hashtag them. I may just repost your lovely photos!

Looking back at what I’ve done in the past 9 months I decided to do a recap of my 6 favorite posts:

One // 90 Years Young
Gramps

This one was my first blog post here and I remember sharing it with friends and family and receiving such great feedback! This particular post is also special to me because it’s about celebrating my grandpa’s 90th birthday  and still acting like a young lad.

Two // Raspberry Mint Mojito
Raspberry Mint Mojito

This one was actually my second blog post on here and first recipe. It took us countless times to go back and change the recipe, but I think we got it figured out to perfection!

Three // Mini Cactus Garden
Mini Cactus Garden

It’s all about the succulent love these days! This mini cactus garden was one of my favorites! I still have it on my one of my shelves and fall in love again every time I look at it.

Four // Standard + Pea: The Traveling Succulent Terrarium ShopStandard + Pea: The Traveling Succulent Terrarium Shop
Another succulent post…but who cares! WE LOVE SUCCULENTS. Lindsey and Haris own the cutest traveling succulent terrarium shop that most of us envy because they get to stare at beautiful succulents daily. *BONUS*—they come in mason jars too! This one was also awesome because Love Vividly partnered with Standard & Pea to host my first giveaway ever!!

Five // DIY Party Poppers: 4th of July EditionDIY Party Poppers: 4th of July Edition
I loved these party poppers! I was pretty happy with the turnout and the free printable that I created. And who doesn’t love confetti being thrown around everywhere!?

Six // Tips on Decorating Your Place
Tips on Decorating Your Place

My first home tour on the blog! I actually struggled writing this post because I wasn’t sure what to say and tell you what you already know. At the same time, I was also excited to share it with you guys because I had multiple requests to write a blog post about decorating your home. It felt good to hear your requests because I knew you were appreciating what I had to say.

That last sentence above is a great segue into what I wanted to end this lonnnnng post with. If any of you have requests on something you would like me to write about, please let me know! Also, if there’s anything that I could improve upon please tell me. You are my readers and I want you to enjoy coming to my blog.

Whew! That was a long one. Well friends, cheers to 2015! Lets make it a good one! Don’t forget to #sharethelv this year!
