Salty Caramel Pumpkin Hot Chocolate
It’s pumpkin everything these days! With that being said, I present to you…salty caramel pumpkin hot chocolate! It’s a mouthful, but let me tell you—its sooooo good! I found this recipe on Pinterest on how to make pumpkin hot chocolate and went from there. Adding in the salty caramel really made it the ultimate hot chocolate drink, and it’s perfect for fall games and festivities!
What you need:
• 2 cups of soy milk (or milk of choice)
• 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree
• 2 oz. of semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 tsp. of vanilla
• 2 tbsp. of brown sugar
• 3/4 tsp. of cinnamon
• 1/8 teaspoon of ginger powder
• 1/4 tsp. of nutmeg
• Salted Caramel topping
• Whipped cream
Here’s how to make it:
Step 1: Put heat on low and pour 2 cups of soy milk into pot.
Step 2: Once milk is warm, add in the pumpkin puree, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger powder, nutmeg, and semi-sweet chocolate chips into pot.
Step 3: Bring pot to a simmer, stirring throughout to ensure ingredients are mixed well.
Step 4: Once well mixed, your hot chocolate is ready to be poured into a mug! Before you give it a taste, top it off with whipped cream, a dash of nutmeg, and salty caramel.
