Chic Mod Podge Pumpkins
I was inspired this weekend to decorate my own pumpkins after seeing some awesome pumpkin decorations on Instagram within the past week. These mini pumpkins turned out to be pretty cool Halloween decorations! After walking around Michael’s craft store, I found some poppy colored printed paper that I knew would be perfect to mod podge onto my pumpkins. To go on top of the colored paper, I thought some letters would be a great addition in order to add some Halloween flair.
What you need:
• Pumpkins
• Mod Podge
• Super glue
• Foam brush
• Scissors
• Mini clothes pins
• Card stock paper (for each letter sign)
• Printed paper (to cover pumpkin)
• Adhesive letters
How to make your chic pumpkins:
Step 1: Using the foam brush, apply mod podge onto pumpkin. Note: before you apply mod podge, be sure to wash pumpkin to remove dirt.
Step 2: Cut paper into strips. Use mod podge to glue paper strips onto pumpkin until entire pumpkin is covered.
Step 3: Let dry for at least an hour, or until thoroughly dry.
Step 4: Once mod podge glue is dry, super glue mini clothes pins onto pumpkin.
Step 5: Cut out small squares of card stock paper and place adhesive letter onto each cut out square.
Step 6: Once the super glue on the mini clothes pins is dry, pin each square onto designated pumpkin.
Step 7: Your chic mod podge pumpkins are ready to be displayed!
