Salty Caramel Whiskey Milkshake
It may have been snowing, icing, and raining out there all at the same time this weekend, but that’s not stopping me from knowing that spring is just around the corner! I’m ready to bring on the warm weather and ice cream! B is a huge whiskey lover and he actually collects every bottle he finds (not kidding either!). So, this weekend, we made this sweet concoction together and it was delicious! Now, I will say I’m not a big fan of whiskey, but this you will LOVE!
We specifically chose TX Whiskey from Firestone & Robertson of Fort Worth, Texas. B absolutely raves about their whiskey, and actually purchased 4 bottles to give away as Christmas gifts to friends and family this past year; TX Whiskey for the win!
Ingredients needed:
Recipe Serves 2
● 1 1/2 shots of whiskey
● 1 cup of milk
● 4 cups of french vanilla ice cream
● Salty Caramel Topping
● Whip cream
● Blender
How to make your milkshake for 2:
Step 1: Place milk, ice cream, and whiskey into blender. Blend to desired thickness (less time=thicker milk shake). Adding less milk can also make for a thicker milkshake, so play around with the ingredients to make your desired shake!
Step 2: Top with whip cream and salty caramel sauce.
Step 3: Ready to be served and enjoyed!
How tasty does this milkshake sound?! I can’t wait to make it again with B (maybe the warmer weather will show up soon!) For all of you that make this tasty concoction, let me know how it tastes! I promise you won’t be disappointed!
