Halloween Oreo Truffles
Anything with the word Oreo in it is going to be yummy without a doubt! I made these delicious Oreo truffles this weekend, but put a Halloween twist to it. This treat would be perfect for the Halloween party you’re hosting or attending!
Ingredients needed:
• 8 oz. softened cream cheese
• Oreos Family size pack
• Candy melts–color(s) and flavor(s) of your choice (I used pumpkin spice and vanilla)
• Sprinkles
• Food processor
How to make them:
Step 1: Place Oreo’s (filling and all) into food processor and pulse until Oreo’s appear as cookie crumbs.
Step 2: Using a mixing bowl, mix Oreo crumbs and cream cheese together with a spatula.
Step 3: Place wax paper onto cookie sheet. Once Step 2 is well mixed, mold 1-inch balls of mix and place onto cookie sheet.
Step 4: Put truffles into freezer for 10 minutes.
Step 5: While truffles are freezing, melt candy melts following instructions on package.
Step 6: Remove Oreo truffles from freezer and dip into candy melt (Tip: I had a lollipop stick to help me dip them into the candy melt to prevent them from getting messy.) Immediately after dipping into candy melt, dip truffle into a bowl of sprinkles, spinning around until well covered.
Step 7: Put back onto cookie sheet and let candy melt cool off and harden.
Step 8: Your truffles are complete! Be sure to store them in a container and place into fridge (if there are any leftovers)!
Enjoy your Halloween treat!
